Meet our Chef, Sergio
With more than 20 years of experience, Sergio has always possessed a profound talent for cooking.
His gastronomic journey began in 1997 when he and his wife, Alethea, started selling homemade lunches in the interior of Brazil, sharing the authentic flavors of Brazilian Food with their community.
After coming to the United States, his first job was as a kitchen worker in Long Branch. From that moment on, Sergio’s culinary path changed forever. His passion for cooking surged, inspiring him to open his very first restaurant and introduce traditional Brazilian Food to a brand-new audience.
Through immense struggle, unwavering dedication, and deep love, Sergio enchanted customers with his exclusive seasoning and irresistible Brazilian dishes. Over time and with resounding success, Long Branch became too small to contain his vision. Driven by a desire to share the rich heritage of Brazilian cuisine, he decided to expand his incomparable taste to Philly, Jax and Riverside as well.
And he doesn’t plan to stop anytime soon, keep an eye open for future locations coming to a city near you!
